LAUNCHING NATIONAL CONSULTATIONS FOR INTRODUCTION OF CHILD WELL-BEING INDICATORS

Croatian Council for Children, with UNICEF's support, today launched consultations for definition and adoption of national indicators of child well-being. This is an important step in the implementation of the National Strategy for Child Rights 2014-2020, which was adopted by the Croatian Government at the end of 2014. NEARLY 1 MILLION CHILDREN REQUIRE URGENT HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE IN NEPAL

At least 940,000 children living in areas severely affected by yesterday's earthquake in Nepal are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance, says UNICEF.
