Services for the most Vulnerable Families
Services for the most vulnerable families in three counties
The youngest children in Croatia do not grow up under equal conditions.
They do not always have access to the activities and services they need because they live in poor families who cannot afford kindergarten, medical services or children’s workshops.
Many children in Croatia are deprived of these services simply because they live in rural areas, despite the fact that they are equally entitled to these services the same as children that live in urban areas or in families with higher income.
This is the reason why UNICEF has appealed to experts, decision-makers, parents and all interested persons in the three counties of Vukovar-Srijem, Sisak-Moslavina and Šibenik-Knin to contribute to achieving better living conditions for children in their communities.
The projects have been implemented in collaboration with the Split based association ‘Mi’ as well as with the Open University Step by Step.
