Data collection and analysis

UNICEF has learned through experience that problems that go unmeasured often go unsolved. Therefore, in collaboration with a wide range of our partners, UNICEF gathers evidence on the situation of children and women in Croatia as well as throughout the world. These findings are then used to make better decisions that more effectively focus limited resources to the maximum benefit of the most vulnerable children. Such data tells us how children live and at the same time helps us to raise public awareness about the key problems in realising child rights and to identify areas where more effort is needed in order to improve the position of children.

As part of the cooperation between UNICEF and the Government of the Republic of Croatia we work with the academic and scientific community in order to ensure that key data on identified areas of our operations is available to inform future UNICEF activities in our country.

Our recent surveys can be found here.

Most publications are available in Croatian only.
